Each year we have seen consistent growth in attendance and are looking forward to expanding again this year. Day in the Arts  received an overwhelming amount of positive feed back, and great suggestions, so we are planning to make this year better than ever. We will continue to offer a wide array of experiences, arts/ crafts, information tables, and of course, live demonstrations including a 45 minute FULL symphony concert on the concourse! Details will be released as we get closer to the date. This event gives you and your youngsters an opportunity to experience the Altoona Symphony and other performance and visual art genres in a relaxed environment.

Come out early to the ballpark to participate in arts activities like:

•puppet shows and puppet making

•playing and handling of real and homemade instruments as well as the construction of your very own homemade instrument!

•painting demonstrations and activities

•face painting

•dance demonstrations and interactions
